Decatur County Court Services is hiring for an Adult Probation Officer to supervise the caseload of offenders and programs of Court Services.  BS Degree is required and must be at least 21 years old.  Possession of /or ability to obtain and maintain State of Indiana Probation Officer within first six months of employment and IRAS Certification.  

Assists in monitoring the daily operations of all programs, tracking drug testing schedules and results, and communicating information to law enforcement agencies.  Supervises, assists and monitors offenders as ordered by the Court.  Conducts home and work visits and conducts initial intake and installation of offenders monitoring equipment.  Files necessary Court documents including revocation petitions and notices to the courts.  Compiles data, reports, collects payments for offender fees.  Attends court hearings and communicates with other law enforcement agencies and community resources.
