Project Indiana: Powering Communities Beyond Borders Decatur County REMC
What happens when local expertise meets global impact? You get Project Indiana - an initiative led by Indiana's electric cooperatives that brings electricity to remote villages in developing countries, empowering entire communities through sustainable energy.
Join us for a powerful Lunch & Learn hosted by Decatur County REMC as they share their involvement in Project Indiana and how this life-changing mission is making a global difference. From providing first-time electricity access to developing regions, to helping communities establish sustainable cooperatives, Project Indiana is lighting the way - literally and figuratively.
This February, Decatur County REMC proudly welcomed home two of their lineman, Paul Trenkamp and Collin Crabtree, who traveled to Palmira, Guatemala to help power 197 homes that had never had access to electricity. Their service is a reflection of the heart behind Project Indiana - Hoosiers helping build a brighter future.
During this session, you'll learn more about the mission, the process, and the incredible impact being made by Indiana's electric cooperatives in partnership with communities around the world.
We hope to have you join us on Tuesday, April 8th at 12 PM!
