2025 Healthy Fair

Decatur County Memorial Hospital invites our community to join us for our annual 2025 Healthy Fair on Thursday, June 5 from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Greensburg Elementary School!

Healthy Fair is our largest health event where attendees can receive FREE health screenings*, visit with DCMH experts, connect with community partners and vendors, meet DCMH providers, receive health resources, enter to win excellent door prizes, tour the expanded Cancer Prevention Expo Hall, and more!

• • 8:30 a.m. – Lauren Karbowski, FNP-C | A Breath of Fresh Air: Lung Health
  • 8:45 a.m. – Stephanie Barr, LMSW and Amy Sandman, RN | Finding Calm: Mental Health
  • 9:00 a.m. – Dr. Scott Washburn | Healthy Heart
  • 9:15 a.m. – Darci Myers, RN and Amy Prentice, RN | Connected Care
  • 9:30 a.m. — Dr. Duncan Hamilton | Wellness from Within: Colon Health
  • 9:45 a.m. — Whitney Dunagan, RD, LD and Melissa Yake, MS, RD, LD | Fuel Your Health: Anti-Inflammatory Diets

FREE Health Screenings:

Join us at the event for FREE screenings* – no appointments needed! Screenings will be available throughout the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Simply register at the event, and your results will be mailed to you after Healthy Fair.

• • A1c – Checks blood sugar levels (Diabetes risk)
  • CMP – Evaluates kidney and liver function
  • Lipid Profile – Measures cholesterol and heart health (includes HDL & Triglycerides)

*Must be 18 years of age to participate in the FREE screenings. Fasting is not required, but some may prefer to.
